Hungary refunds 30% of qualifying local spend in cash — EU-approved, secured to 2030, with no minimum or maximum spend per project. In July 2026 the government lifted the cap on new registrations, reopening the incentive for international productions of any scale. Add qualifying foreign costs and the effective return rises to 37.5%.
It is a genuine cash rebate — paid in cash, bankable, and monetizable upfront. Through several partner lenders and banks, we can arrange to monetize the rebate before wrap so it funds your production from day one.
