Dopamine is led by Yuri Rutman, an American producer and director. That second word matters. Most service companies hand you a line producer and a spreadsheet. Yuri works with visiting directors the way one filmmaker talks to another — reading a script for its images, not just its schedule, and sourcing the locations that will actually make the movie sing. His last film, Trained, was released globally by Shorts.TV / AMC Networks, the official distributor of Academy Award–nominated short films, and he has produced and directed across features, docuseries, television and digital content, with a background advising and co-founding startups.

In 2023 he took a one-way ticket to Budapest and fell for the city, its film infrastructure and its culture. He now divides his time between Budapest and speaks fluent Russian — which, on international crews, opens more doors than you would expect.

And as one of very few partners in Hungary or Europe able to, we can monetize the rebate upfront, turning a post-wrap reimbursement into working cash during the shoot.
